My aim is to make art that embodies the vibrant aliveness of nature - the sacred fire that burns in all beings. Then this energy is accessible to you when you look at the art, touch it, make it your own. The energy stays available to you -- like the love that's always here for us.

My life and artwork are in a new stage now -- with a focus on heart-themed painting and collage. Of course, many of these pieces incorporate leaves from beloved trees here in the north Georgia woods. Several series of small works are in process, and you can expect new work to be added here on a regular basis again. Prints are available now, and soon framed and unframed originals will be too.

My earlier plans were shattered, literally, in a series of falls and fractures -- and frustrated by too tiny a "clean studio" space. My new plan is to forge iron and mixed-media vessels again when I've added more studio space and recovered from severe osteoporosis. Meanwhile -- I've returned to collage, my first love -- and continuing to make abstract acrylic paintings.
