These paper vessels hold Chi energy to keep it available to you. This is a new kind of paper sculpture. As far as I know, I'm the first artist to make medicine bags of soft oriental paper, lined with cloth and embellished with floss & metallic threads.

The bags hold energy even when empty. After all, emptiness is a power in itself! It may mean more to you at a certain point in your life, than filling the bag.

Of course you can place any small objects of meaning to you inside. These objects can become your own amulets and/or talismans. They are your symbols of energy and power.

These medicine bags are all original, one of a kind artworks. You may find one that calls to you with its colors and form. Or you may pick one because of the significance of the numbers of folds. Trust your attractions, of course.

The price of most of the medicine bags is $24. The few that contain inner labyrinths are $32. This is the retail price, whether you buy them here or at a gallery.

The paper is protected with Scotchgard®, and the cloth lining and metal eyelets make the bags surprisingly strong. The Chi energy in the soft paper can be renewed annually, with a simple blessing from you.

Sizes of Chi Energy™ Bags:

The 4-fold and 5-fold bags spread out the most when free standing. They're about 3 to 4" high, 5" in diameter. You can vary the size by the way you fold them. The 4-fold bags fold flat into triangular or heart shaped pendants, as well.

The 6-fold through 12-fold bags are about 3" high, 3 to 3.5" high.

Labyrinths

A few of the Chi Energy bags have a labyrinth painted inside. You can use these as a meditation tool or simply enjoy the secret pleasure hidden inside.
