Inspired by many readings of Walden, and my own adventure into a life in the woods.

Collage includes:

• Text from chapter one of “Walden” by Henry David Thoreau.

• Fern and tree leaves gathered and pressed here on studio land.

• Oriental papers - dyed, not necessarily lightfast.

• Titanium white acrylic paint (highly lightfast).

Details:

• Canvas is ready to hang, or to display on a small table easel.

• Collage parts are heat-melded and coated with Golden gloss medium.

• Collage background is stretched canvas, standard 3/4-inch depth, unframed with painted edges.

• Entire canvas is varnished with UV-protective Golden archival varnish.
