Discovering the Gifts of This Year's Journey"

In conjunction with the exhibition of my heart paintings, I'm co-leading this one-day "quiet day" workshop with the Rev. Cynthia Hizer, Associate Priest at the Church of the Epiphany in Atlanta. We'll be meeting in a circle of heart paintings, arranged in a medicine wheel!

This event is open to anyone interested. The $30 fee includes all materials, and scholarships are available. To register, call (404) 373-8338. (Registration is open now, but spaces are limited.)

DETAILS -- WHAT THIS MID-SUMMER "QUIET DAY" IS ABOUT:

"Midway through this year’s journey, let’s allow to rise from our hearts the deeper meanings calling for our attention now. For each of us these mid-year meanings are a surprise gift, waiting to be opened.

"We’ll do our playful work together supported by a circle of heart paintings arranged like a
medicine wheel. Our heart painter, Cathy Morgan, will offer us tools based on responding
to art, including the five universal shapes discovered by anthropologist Angeles Arrien.

Cathy and Cynthia will lead us in further explorations of the movement of our deeper lives
now, using meditation, movement, fragrance and sound. It will all be relaxed and easy —
a brief midsummer vacation to send us back out into the world renewed."
