Return Policy

Each painting carries a 100% guarantee, backed with a full refund if you are less than delighted with it. The normal period for returns is two weeks after your painting is delivered. If you need an exception, email or phone so we can talk about it.

When you receive your heart painting(s)

If the shipping container looks damaged, please snap a photo or two showing the damage before you even open it. Then unpack your painting(s) carefully. Keep the packaging and box till you’re sure we needn’t file a damage claim, and that you want to keep the painting(s).

Contemplating your new heart painting(s)

Since monitors vary a bit in how they show colors, a painting often looks different when viewed in person. I hope that you love it more, as soon as you unwrap it!

Unless there’s only one possible site for a new painting, I recommend trying it in different places, under various illuminations. A painting looks different in different kinds and amounts of light — morning sunlight, for example, compared with the warm glow of living room lamps.

Viewing a painting from different angles often brings out textures and metallic highlights not as obvious when viewing it straight on.

Returning a heart painting

Even if the return is within the two-week standard return period, I’ll appreciate a call or text or email ahead of time. I can advise on packing and shipping. And I won’t have spent the money on something silly like food! (Just kidding. I won’t starve if you return a painting.)

Please pack the clean, undamaged artwork with the same care with which I sent it. Get in touch with me if you need help with this, or with arranging the actual shipping. And if an accident happened and artwork got damaged, just tell me. I realize things happen.

I appreciate good news too!

If you love your new heart painting(s), please let me know — with words and/or photos!
